Day 133: the unicorn

Day 133 Jan 11 2016 Old Bar 9:30amP1060639cdoc

The unicorn is a magical creature, often depicted as a white horse-like or goat-like animal with a long horn and cloven hooves………but, today the unicorn took the form of a fish.

The unicorn was commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature (in this case…..sea creature); a symbol of purity and grace, which could only be captured by a virgin.

And if you are thinking I captured this one……think again haha!

Many cultures believed the horn to have the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness……….and so I thanked this beautiful little creature for the blessings it bestowed on all who swam in its waters today.
