Day 157:flying fish flowers

Day 157 Feb 4 2016 Old Bar 5:00pmP1070408doc

It must have been the onset of the rain after the intense heat that bought about my play with the absurd……as I made a school of flying fish forms out of leaves and grevillea flowers.

The’ Exocoetidae’ are a family of fish with wings also known as flying fish.

Flying fish can make powerful, self-propelled leaps out of water into air, where their long, wing-like fins enable flight over considerable distances above the water’s surface.

This uncommon ability is a natural defense mechanism to evade predators.

So I am naming my family of flying fish the ‘Leafogrivelliea’ also known as a species of flying flowers. Hehe!
