…this lonely pine cone had made its way to the shoreline, just out of reach of the incoming tide…. I admired the patterns made by rolling the edge of the cone in the waterlogged sand, not realising (until I stood up) that I had created the image of a serpent.
I love the serendipity that occurs in these quiet moments of play as my unconscious mind makes the link between the patterns, a snakeskin and the form of a serpent….almost without any involvement on my part.
It has been said by many wise ones that snakes shed their skins so that we may shed our illusions and limitations….so if you are ready to shed your own skin, Snake is ready and waiting to guide you through the spiral path of transformation!
