New foliage appears (on the succulents at Lyn’s place next door) ….like the gaping mouths of many tiny birds as they open their beaks in anticipation for food.
I have watched this particular succulent plant now for months as it sheds the old layers, revealing white bulbous bases and fresh green growth.
